Nobody Walks (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Martine is 23 and has just arrived in Los Angeles, where she takes up residence in the pool house of a well-off family in Silver Lake. She is there to finish an art film. Peter, a laid-back father of two, says yes when his wife asks him to assist their guest with the project, so the two of them work on it together. The household she joins is artistic and relaxed, and her presence brings a new charge of energy into the house. The people living there face their own fears and desires, and denial and deception run through the arrangement as she spends more time with this stand-in family.
