Plot summary
Jake Rosser is an LAPD officer who lives with his family and with Socks, a retired K-9 officer. Their ordinary routine ends when a gang strikes the household. Rosser is given a new K-9 partner, Argos, and the officer and the dog take up the search for the people behind the assault. Rosser's work now runs in two directions at once: tracking down the people responsible, and keeping his family out of reach of the gang that came for them.
