Nicole Fortuin
Biography
Nicole Fortuin is a South African actress, dancer and theater maker from Belhar, Cape Town who trained in theater and performance at the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2014. As a teenager she reached the last four of a dance competition run by the broadcaster e.tv. After graduating she was cast in the SABC 3 Afrikaans series Roer Jou Voete as Maryke van Niekerk, and her feature debut came in the American teen movie A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits (2016), in which she played Georgie. She went on to appear in Van der Merwe, Vaselinetjie and Swartwater, and starred opposite Izel Bezuidenhout in Jenna Bass's Flatland, shown at Berlinale and the Toronto International Film Festival. She also played Lee-Ann in the kykNET series Alles Malan, and her other credits include Blood & Water, Indemnity, Late Bloomer and Kelsey Egan's The Fix (2024).
