Plot summary
Molly Moon's closest friend at the orphanage is Rocky, and she has a pug dog named Petula. A book about hypnotism comes into her hands, and she teaches herself to hypnotize from it. The skill gives her a way out of the orphanage, and she makes for London, where she performs in a play in the West End. Nockman, a bank robber, wants the book for himself.
