Plot summary
When the dead start walking in Australia, telecom tradesmen Joel and Darryl take refuge in a telephone exchange tower. Joel shows Darryl that Roy's wife is undead and shut in the back of his ute, which keeps them from reaching their beer; after an argument, Darryl shoots her. Their older mate Roy turns up with his daughter Emma, and Darryl makes clumsy advances on her while Roy objects. The group argues about how to survive. Joel decides to repair the 3G tower so he can call the military and give their position. Two apprentices, Ryan and Lachlan, arrive at the exchange in paintballing gear.
