Plot summary

Duke and Amber are a young couple short on money, both of them working menial jobs while their gangster neighbors keep stealing from their home. Amber comes back one day to find the neighbors inside taking things; they beat her and leave. Duke finds her and buys a gun. Pollen, a corrupt DEA agent, is hunting money of his own that has gone missing, and his search leads him to the neighbors' house. He arrives before Duke does, shots are fired, and Pollen is hurt. Duke walks in on the aftermath and spots the money. He carries it off, convinced it will give him and Amber a better life, and Pollen passes out from his wounds before he can stop him.
