Plot summary
The Victors are a Southern California motorcycle gang whose president is Pistolero, with The Gent and the young Comanche as his lieutenants. Pistolero rode as Johnny in 1976, when Cherokee Kisum, his girlfriend, was murdered as a message to the club by men from the rival Six-Six-Six'ers; the money she had hidden from drug deals was meant for her young son, who disappeared after her death. The Deuce, who had left the biker life for large-scale business, returns to the area to settle unfinished business, and Billy Wings rebuilds the Sixers in Los Angeles. The rival gang works its way into the Victors to take over their territory. Pistolero's ally Eddie Zero and the medicine woman Nada stand with him against the Sixers.

- Hell Ride exists because Quentin Tarantino told Larry Bishop, some five and a half years earlier, "It is your destiny to write, direct and star in a movie", and promised to help produce it. Bishop duly starred in the film and also wrote, directed and co-produced it, with Tarantino as executive producer.
