Plot summary
Jacks, an American in London, interns at the British edition of Vogue and shares an apartment with Peter Simon, a gay screenwriter who has never been in a relationship and spends much of his time inside his own dreams. Jacks keeps away from serious romance, filling her free time with friends and with her ex-boyfriend James Wildstone, a man she does not love. Paolo Sarmiento joins the magazine as an assistant to one of its photographers. Taking him for gay, Jacks sets about bringing him and Peter together, and her attention to that plan leaves her blind to what Paolo feels for her.
