Plot summary
Friends, lovers and relatives come together for the funeral of Stuart, a restaurant owner. Three men close to him decide to change their lives. Dan, Stuart's brother-in-law, has been a faithful husband and a loving father until he meets Corinne, a Frenchwoman whose honesty and appetite for pleasure make him wonder whether he has missed out on something. Nick, Stuart's lover and a restaurant owner himself, takes up with a high-spirited young woman soon after the loss; when the friendship turns intimate, he is unsettled by his feelings for her. Tim, Stuart's best friend, has been away for eight years. Carefree and charismatic, he comes home still hunting the elusive something his life has lacked, and meets a woman employed in a fashion boutique.
