Plot summary
Detective Vic Manning has spent six months pursuing drug lord Oka Tedjo, who shot his partner Sara Morris. When Captain Angie McHenry tells him the case is going to the feds, Vic has laser eye surgery, leaving his sight blurred for a day or two. His daughter Nicole invites him to her art gallery that night and installs the Uber app on his phone. Then his informant Leon calls about a heroin drop, so Vic drives off half blind, wrecks his car and calls for a ride. Stu, who sells sporting goods and drives for Uber on the side, needs to keep his rating above four stars, and he is putting money into a spin class business with Becca, the friend he loves. Stu picks Vic up, and Vic will not let him leave.
