Plot summary
Maria Frankenstein and her brother Rudolph, grandchildren of the notorious Dr. Frankenstein, have settled near a small village in Mexico, where frequent lightning storms suit the experiments their grandfather began. Rudolph is afraid of his sister and does as she says. Villagers keep disappearing, so Mañuel and Nina Lopez prepare to leave with their daughter Juanita. Jesse James, who survived his reported killing, rides in with Hank Tracy, a dimwitted brute he uses as a henchman, and the two join Butch Curry's gang to rob a stagecoach. The holdup fails and Hank is wounded. Juanita takes the men to the Frankensteins' house, where Maria agrees to treat Hank and hides the pair from the law.
