Trailer

Plot summary

A second feature-length roundup of stunts, pranks and skits brings the Jackass regulars back, following Jackass: The Movie and the television series that came before it. It opens with bulls chasing the crew through a suburban neighborhood. The stunts include one member on a big red rocket, another shut into a trailer that holds a king cobra, a third on a giant firehose that flings him into mud, and a fourth launched into a garage door from a shopping cart. One bit dresses a crew member's penis as a mouse for a snake to strike at, and another sends a man with a fish hook through his cheek into the Gulf of Mexico. Cameras followed the group to India, Australia, England, Moscow and Argentina, among other places.

Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Jackass Number Two (2006)

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.

  • The stunt "How to Milk a Horse" was originally shot for Wildboyz but saved for future use, and Chris Pontius only agreed to perform it after asking director Jeff Tremaine for a full day off work, telling him on camera it would "make up for something bad I'm going to do in the future."
  • Stunts featuring Viva La Bam regular Don Vito were filmed and shown in trailers for Jackass Number Two, but all his scenes were cut late in development because of the scandal surrounding his arrest just before the film's release and the nature of the charges against him.
  • Once enough footage for Jackass Number Two was completed, Johnny Knoxville was so energized by shooting with his friends again that he urged the cast to keep filming more stunts, most of which ended up in Jackass 2.5, even at further risk of injury.
  • Ryan Dunn approached fellow Jackass regular Raab Himself about appearing in Jackass Number Two, but he declined; Raab was battling alcoholism and drug addiction at the time and had been a recurring cast member on the TV show and the first film.
