Preston Lacy

Biography

Preston Lacy is an American stunt performer, actor and comedian who is one of the main performers on the reality stunt show Jackass. Born in Carthage, Missouri, he held jobs as a poultry handler, a sewage technician, a truck driver and a construction crew member before heading to California, where commercials and a job driving textiles for a clothing company led to a friendship with Johnny Knoxville. Hired at first as a writer for Jackass, he was talked into performing the stunts himself, and he contributed many of the ideas behind the show's skits. He appeared in Jackass: The Movie (2002), Jackass Number Two (2006), Jackass 2.5 (2007), Jackass 3D (2010), Jackass 3.5 (2011), Jackass Forever (2022), Jackass 4.5 (2022) and Jackass: Best and Last (2026). He shares a writing credit on National Lampoon's TV: The Movie, starred with Chris Kattan in Christmas in Wonderland (2006), and has toured doing stand-up comedy.
