Bam Margera

Biography

Bam Margera is an American stunt performer, television personality, filmmaker, and professional skateboarder from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He started skateboarding as a child, earned his first sponsorship in 1992, and later joined Team Element. With friends from his hometown, he made homemade skate and stunt tapes that grew into the CKY video series, and he released the first CKY film independently in 1999. That work brought him to MTV's Jackass, where he became a main cast member and appeared in Jackass: The Movie (2002), Jackass Number Two (2006), Jackass 3D (2010), Jackass 2.5 (2007), and Jackass 3.5 (2011). He also created and starred in Viva La Bam and other spin-off shows, directed and appeared in Haggard (2003), directed Minghags, hosted the Radio Bam radio program, and ran the Filthy Note Records label. He has also been featured in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games.
