Jess Margera
Biography
Jess Margera is an American musician and television personality, the drummer and a founder of the rock band CKY, which he helped start in 1998. Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, he began playing in bands in the early 1990s, first in early groups before forming Foreign Objects with Deron Miller. That band released its debut EP, The Undiscovered Numbers and Colors, in 1995. After performing as Oil with bassist Ryan Bruni, the group added guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and became CKY. Margera has played drums on all five CKY studio albums and contributed to the songwriting on Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild. He also drummed for the comedy act Gnarkill, joined England's Viking Skull in 2006, and formed the supergroup The Company Band in 2007 with members of Clutch and Fireball Ministry. His screen credits include the CKY videos and the television programs Viva La Bam and Jackass.
