Plot summary
Cassidy, an oceanographer, is haunted by her father's death in a shark attack. She joins a treasure-diving expedition in Thailand with her new husband, Gregg, hoping to face the memory. Their boat is captained by Gregg's friend Daemon, and the other divers on board include a couple, Pierre and Itsara. Modern-day pirates led by Jordan seize the vessel while searching for a lost shipment of drugs, then force the tourists into shark-infested water to bring the contraband up. In flashbacks, Seamus, a marine biologist and Cassidy's grandfather, teaches her ways to face her nightmares and fears.
