Jon Seda
Biography
Jon Seda is an American actor who came to screen acting from an amateur boxing background, landing a part in the 1992 boxing film Gladiator after auditioning. A native of Manhattan who grew up in Clifton, New Jersey, he earned a Spirit Award nomination for best male lead for I Like It Like That (1994). He played Chris Pérez opposite Jennifer Lopez in Selena (1997) and appeared in The Sunchaser (1996), Bad Boys II (2003), and Bullet to the Head (2012). On television, he was Detective Paul Falsone on Homicide: Life on the Street and Detective Antonio Dawson in the Chicago franchise, including Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Justice. He also portrayed Marine John Basilone in the World War II miniseries The Pacific and later had roles in Treme and La Brea.
