Plot summary
The modern world is a puzzle to Mordecai Samel, a Holocaust survivor who came of age in another era. Youth and the habits of the present day sit outside his experience, and he does not fully understand them. His son hands him an iPhone, and the phone becomes a guide into a reality he has not grasped and a tool that brings him closer to the world around him.

- The film grew out of Marvin Samel's own family: in 2014, when his wife gave birth to twin daughters and his mother was diagnosed with dementia, he began writing down the family stories he had told to entertain audiences at cigar events. Those stories became the basis for the screenplay.
