Plot summary

The tragic memories of Steve's past have cut him off from the world. Each object in his home and each sound he hears is tied to a specific event in his life. With his own world coming apart, he follows those events to work out how he came to be alone and broken. His mother and father are among them, along with the boy he once was, Karen, Santana, Trevor and Adam. The generational troubles that held his father before him held Steve as well. He still has hope that he can leave the pain behind and forgive, himself included.
