Plot summary
A young man from Milan, Giordano is hitchhiking when three Americans sightseeing in Italy offer him a ride. Two of them, Sid and Diana, are married: he is an older professor of archaeology, and she is interested in exploring living things. Nelson is the third member of the group, and the couple's marriage is an open one. During the journey Sid gazes at the ancient ruins the car passes, while Diana turns her attention to the hitchhiker and seduces him.
