Jeff Morrow
Biography
Jeff Morrow was an American actor whose career spanned stage, radio, film, and television. Born in New York City, he studied at Pratt Institute and first worked as a commercial artist. He took stage roles as early as 1927, when he was billed as Irving Morrow, and later performed in Broadway shows. Following service in the Army during World War II, he worked in radio and landed the title part on the Dick Tracy radio series. His film debut came with the Biblical epic The Robe (1953), and he appeared in several 1950s science fiction films, among them Kronos (1957), The Giant Claw (1957), This Island Earth (1955), and The Creature Walks Among Us (1956). He also starred in the Western television series Union Pacific and played Tob in The Story of Ruth (1960). Later credits included Il giovane normale (1969) and Octaman (1971). He mostly retired after 1974, though he returned to television, with a 1986 Twilight Zone episode.
