Plot summary
J. Pierrepont Finch works as a window cleaner. He buys a book called How to Succeed in Business, which gives a plan for climbing in a company. Finch follows its advice and takes a job in the mail room at the World-Wide Wicket Company. Rosemary Pilkington is a secretary there, and he starts to fall for her. J.B. Biggley is the president of the company.
