Plot summary

Jinx has coasted through life without paying much attention to the world around him. When a bank transaction fee threatens to overdraw his account, he goes into the bank to sort it out. Instead, he walks into the middle of a robbery. Jinx ends up locked in the vault with Jessica, who is bound and gagged. Police officer DeGepse and his team surround the building. Through a cell phone, Jinx reaches Simon, the man leading the robbers. Simon wants the vault opened so his crew can empty the safe deposit boxes, while DeGepse wants the standoff resolved. Caught between them, Jinx becomes the one arbitrating the intense situation.
