Plot summary
Maximo makes a living by charming wealthy women who are older than he is, and he marries one of them. Twenty-five years on, spoiled and out of shape, he loses his place when she takes up with a younger car salesman. With no mansion left, he calls Rick, a fellow kept man, and lands briefly at the playhouse of his wife's granddaughter. His sister Sara then takes him into the small apartment she shares with her son Hugo, and Maximo sets his sights on Celeste, a widowed billionaire and the grandmother of Hugo's classmate Arden.
