Plot summary
Silk Miller keeps the saloon and gambling house in Hell's Hinges, a wild frontier town. The Reverend Robert Henley arrives there with his sister Faith, meaning to preach to the community, and Miller and his accomplices see the pair as a danger to their ways. They stir up the local rowdies against the newcomers, and rough men and women break up a church service. When one of the men insults Faith, the gunman Blaze Tracy clears the crowd from the newly built church. Miller had wanted Tracy to drive the minister out of town; instead the woman's sincerity has turned the gunman around.
