Trailer

Plot summary

A foretelling says the Heavenly Sword will pass into the hands of a human deliverer. Ages ago a warrior descended from the heavens, defeated the Raven Lord, who made war on anyone to gain power, and then vanished, leaving the blade behind. It was entrusted to a clan of nomadic warriors so that no one could turn its power to evil ends. Nariko belongs to that clan, and her father Shen calls her its failure; she fights well, but he gives no credit to a daughter. King Bohan comes for the Heavenly Sword, the only blade that can kill him, and his assassins break into the fortress. Shen gives the sword to Nariko and sends her west while he and the rest of the clan go east. A mortal who wields the blade is slowly killed by it.
