Did you know?!

  1. A first

Anna Torv played Olivia Dunham on Fringe, the Fox science fiction show that ran from 2008 to 2013. Her four straight Saturn Awards for Best Actress on Television set a record no other performer has matched.

  2. Early training

Torv was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art at 17, but was too young to open an electricity account or enter pubs, so she took a gap year and worked as cafe and bar staff before graduating in 2001.

  3. Beyond film

Torv lent her voice to Scholastic Australia's Solo Collection in 2005, recording audio books such as Little Fingers, Jack's Owl, Spike, and Maddy in the Middle. She also performed voice work and motion capture for Nariko in the 2007 video game Heavenly Sword.
