Plot summary
Ray Hayes is a former cop who now works for a criminal organization as a henchman. He keeps that work away from his wife Alice and their children. He wants to leave the organization and open a diner with Alice, but he remains tied to the people he serves. Before he can go, he is handed one last job. That job fails, and the mob turns on him, treating him as a liability and a target. He has a single night to move his family out of the city.
