Plot summary
The Dark Knights go back on tour after a long break that followed their last gig, where a stunt went wrong, fire spread through the crowd, and a sixteen-year-old boy was killed in the rush for the exits. Police filed no charges against the band or its manager, Angus Wiles, and called the death an accident. Fans who rejected that reading began calling the group cursed, and the dead boy's sister, who had adored him, holds the musicians responsible. Her need for revenge grows into psychosis. She reinvents herself as Riley, a groupie who works her way into the comeback tour. The manager and several of the players want her out, but Travis Bellamy, the band's leader, is drawn to her and to the masks she makes.
