Danny Arroyo

Danny Arroyo is an actor, writer and producer who was inspired to pursue performing after watching Christopher Reeve speak about playing Superman in an interview. He earned a best actor award for his role in the independent drama Chimera House and has appeared in films such as The Velocity of Gary (1999), White Rush (2003), Kill Katie Malone (2010), Groupie (2010) and The Before Time (2014), working alongside actors including Danny Glover, Salma Hayek and Mel Gibson. On television, he took a lead role in the SyFy pilot The Resistance and appeared in TV movies such as the TNT production Hard Time, opposite Burt Reynolds, and Hercules Saves Christmas, in which he played Rick Wilder. He also won a 2015 Vive Latino America best actor award for the series Sangre Negra. Arroyo wrote the screenplay Gamers, which was optioned, and was developing additional scripts.
