Plot summary
Teddy Duncan wants to spend spring break in Florida with her friend Ivy, and Amy refuses to let her travel alone. Bob tells her she can go if she pays for her own plane ticket. On the family's Christmas flight to Palm Springs, the crew announces the plane is overbooked and offers a free ticket to anyone who gives up a seat. Teddy volunteers, and Amy follows her off the plane. The next flight leaves after Christmas, three days away. Amy argues with the woman at the check-in desk and security escorts them out. Teddy suggests the bus. In Palm Springs, Petunia criticizes Bob, Charlie breaks things in the house, PJ gets a sunburn, and Gabe teaches Hank a video game. On the bus, Amy's motion sickness gets them put off.
