Plot summary
Suzanne Waters spent her working life in teaching and has just given up the principal's office at the local high school. The night of her retirement celebration becomes a night of unexpected crises. Retirement also brings her a different kind of lesson, this one from Eli, a troubled young man whose life she chooses to invest in. The family has something else to celebrate: Suzanne becomes a first-time grandmother. The baby's arrival brings renewed hope to those close to her, and each member of the family looks for their own core value on the path they believe God has set.
