Plot summary
Brendan Ingle, a steel industry worker turned boxing trainer, discovers Naseem Hamed on the tough streets of Sheffield, where Hamed comes from a humble start. The two form an unlikely partnership. In the ring Hamed's style is unorthodox, and his persona is cocky. The Islamophobia and racism of Britain in the 1980s and 1990s surround the pair as they work together.
