Plot summary
On a cold night in 1978, two groups converge on a warehouse outside Boston. Chris and Frank, IRA men, have come with Stevo and Bernie to purchase guns from Vernon, an arms dealer who arrives with Martin, Harry and Gordon. Justine acts as intermediary, and Ord leads the visitors inside, where a van is unloaded. Vernon has brought the wrong rifles, and tensions run between the two sides. Stevo, who traveled with Bernie, says he was attacked the day before by a relative of a woman he once hurt. He keeps his distance from Harry, the man he blames, and Frank grows annoyed at the delay.
