Plot summary
The Defenders of Eden are Estrie hunters who work as a family. A union of dark cults, with demons beside them, seeks to pull the world into darkness and rise to godhood. Chicago becomes the ground of that conflict, and spirits there gain bodies and step into the city. Rabbi Adam Hassan leads the family, and visions direct him to Victor Locke, a demon hunter with power against such beings. The family wants him beside them, and joining is his decision.
