Early to Bed (1941) on Netflix

Plot summary

Donald Duck yawns at sunset and turns in for the night, but his bed fights him from the start: he cracks his head on the frame and his pillow bursts in a cloud of feathers. Once he settles, the clock on the bedside table ticks loud enough to keep him awake. Moved to a drawer, it rattles the whole drawer; thrown at the wall, it sets a vase shaking. Tossed out the window, it bounces off laundry and lands in his mouth, and he swallows it. The ticking continues inside him until he coughs up the pieces. Relief does not last: the fold-away bed snaps shut with him trapped inside and its springs fling him at the ceiling. He boards and ropes the bed to the floor.
