Plot summary
Mickey Mouse has a vacation ahead of him, a train ride from Burbank to Pomona with Pluto coming along. Conductor Pete will not allow a dog on the train, so Mickey squeezes Pluto into his suitcase and reaches the caboose just before the train pulls out. Once they are settled in the passenger car, Mickey pulls Pluto out and warns him to keep quiet, because being found means being thrown off. Pete comes through to punch tickets, and Mickey stuffs Pluto back into the suitcase, keeping the dog hidden as Pete works his way down the aisle.

- Walt Disney himself was filmed recording his lines as Mickey Mouse for this short, one of the only times he was shown doing the voice on camera, with the actor Billy Bletcher alongside him voicing Pete.
- The black-and-white record of that session runs about ten minutes and is the only known footage of Disney performing as Mickey Mouse.
