Sorbet commands what is left of Frieza's military, and the Pilaf Gang on Earth is made to gather the Dragon Balls and summon Shenron. The wish brings Frieza back in many pieces, since Future Trunks once cut him apart with his sword, and Sorbet's minions use their technology to put him together again. Restored and leading his forces, Frieza sets his mind on revenge against the Super Saiyans. When he hears how much stronger Goku has become, he puts the invasion off and trains. Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman, comes to Earth to warn Bulma of Frieza's approach, while Goku and Vegeta are off training with Whis on Beerus' planet. Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Master Roshi, Tien Shinhan and Jaco gather to oppose him.
