Plot summary
Greg Heffley cannot seem to satisfy his father, Frank, whose expectations of him are high. Frank believes his son is too wimpy and warns that he will enroll Greg at Spag Union Military Academy. Determined to avoid that, Greg tries to show he can toughen up and take on responsibility. His efforts are a mix of honest attempts and deception, and every one of them goes wrong.
