Plot summary
Goldy Berry earns her living as a professional caterer and has a sideline as an amateur detective. She has been hired to cater a big wedding in town. Jessamyn Cole is the bride, and the groom is Sterling. Jessamyn is the ex-wife of Tom Schultz, the detective Goldy is currently dating. The town is shocked when Sterling is found dead and Jessamyn is missing. Another detective, one who carries a vendetta against Tom, is brought in to oversee the case. Goldy and Tom take up the search themselves, hoping to find Jessamyn before anything worse happens to her.
