Plot summary
Marshall Hogan III has no family and lives with his best friend Spence Holmes, whose father and girlfriend Amanda worry that Hogan's taste for older women will rub off. After graduation, Spence's father asks a favor of Mr. Stack, a divorce lawyer, and the two friends become interns for lawyers who torment them with chores and errands while holding their law school recommendations. An errand brings them to the home of Mr. Stack's wife, where middle-aged women are gathered for a seminar. A woman Hogan knows asks whether he and Spence have friends who could keep her and the others company. Hogan proposes a club for young men and older women, funded by membership fees.
