Contraband (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Chris Farraday used to run contraband into the country on freighters, but he has settled into a quiet life in New Orleans with his wife Kate and their two sons. Kate's brother Andy was carrying drugs on a cargo ship and dumped them overboard when U.S. Customs and Border Protection came aboard. Andy's boss, Tim Briggs, wants the value of the lost drugs back, and he tells Chris that unless Andy pays him $700,000 within two weeks, Chris's family will die. Chris decides the only way to raise that money in time is to return to smuggling. He signs on to a cargo ship headed for Panama, intending to buy $10 million in counterfeit bills and bring them home with Andy and his old partner Danny Raymer. With Chris away, Briggs arrives at the house.
