Plot summary
Jack is an executive at a financial brokerage firm, where he hopes to impress Drew Clayton, the president, and earn a promotion. He is also dating Drew's daughter Demi, who is rich and elegant, and Demi's mother Clarisse would rather her daughter went with a man from their own social circle. Jack still intends to propose to Demi, and to be ready for the moment he signs up for dance lessons ahead of Drew's lavish annual Christmas Dance. His dance instructor is Christine, and the hours of practice stir up feelings for her that leave the proposal he has planned in doubt.
