Plot summary
A mutant squirrel named Tromie is dealt with, and daily life in Tromaville settles back to normal. Roger Smith, now the town's mayor, is delighted when his twin sons, Dick and Adlai, are born. Then strangers snatch Dick from the hospital and bring him up to be cruel, while Roger raises Adlai to be gentle and peaceful. The boys grow up apart. Years on, Dr. Slag, Ph.D. draws on Dick in a scheme against his brother Adlai, setting Adlai up for a crime he did not commit, so that the people of Tromaville will turn on him. Should the plan succeed, the town would be reduced to a toxic wasteland.

- Troma created its own distribution company, Troma Team Video, in 1995 after trouble with distributors such as Warner Home Video and Fox, and advertised Class of Nuke 'Em High 3 as the label's first major VHS release.
- The plot is loosely based on William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors; the only thing carried over is the separated twins and the identity crisis that follows.
- Troma marketed Brick Bronsky as its own action star, giving him a parade in Cannes, but the film was hardly noticed outside Troma's fanbase and Bronsky appeared in only a handful of later films, usually as a henchman.
