Plot summary
Mr. M is the unseen boss of thieves Corey Mahoney and Terrence Christian. The pair lift a stovepipe hat that belonged to Abraham Lincoln from a Civil War reenactment, and Mr. M drops them. The mysterious Pascal offers them a commission: bring him the Rock of Lazarus, a relic that can return souls to Earth and raise an army of evil souls. Pascal pays $8,000 up front and promises $100,000 more once the task is done, and he is not the only one who wants the relic. Corey and Terrence go after it and run into demons, and into Simon Magus, a sorcerer who believes he is the son of God.
