Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Class (1983)

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.

  • Jacqueline Bisset took over the role of Ellen Burroughs from Lesley Ann Warren, then lost the scenes that explained her character, among them an ending in which her son visits her in a mental hospital.
  • Virginia Madsen said in 2013 that the young actors were cruel to her and the shoot left bad memories. Rob Lowe agreed, calling her big scene, in which her shirt is ripped off, a shoehorned-in Porky's-style moment, and asked who could put up with him, John Cusack, Alan Ruck and Andrew McCarthy at 18.
  • The film handed out an unusual number of first screen roles at once: Andrew McCarthy, John Cusack, Virginia Madsen, Casey Siemaszko and Lolita Davidovich all made their film debuts in it, four months after Rob Lowe appeared in The Outsiders.
