Plot summary
In the early 1600s, Countess Elizabeth Bathory had more than six hundred young women put to death, certain that their blood, if she bathed in it, would preserve her youth and beauty. Four centuries later she is still alive and has settled in conservative America, working as an abstinence educator under the name Liz Batho, a hunting ground well suited to her needs. The students of San Griento High, whose chastity she praises, are the young women she has in mind as her next victims. Leah Ratliff, a feminist blogger and a reporter for the school paper, sets out to stop her.
