Plot summary
Two ecologists break into Dr. Belmont's laboratory, determined to set free the animals kept there for experiments. They carry off a box holding one of his subjects, and on the road the box comes open. The creature inside, a Tasmanian Devil changed by genetic work, gets away into the woods beside a cemetery. Dr. Belmont's son Hunter rides in a van with four friends, bound for that same cemetery to shoot a horror movie. Belmont and his colleague Dr. Christine Kollar take up the search for the animal they call Precious, which hunts whatever crosses its path among the graves.
