Plot summary
Chris Marshall coaches high school basketball in New Jersey. A widower for five years, he is raising two children, and his daughter Sophie has learned that Nikki Crandon, now a pop star who sings the National Anthem and releases albums, was his first love in high school. Sophie sets out to bring the two of them back together, and her eight-year-old brother Jackson joins the effort.
