Plot summary
Captain Jordan Wright is a U.S. Army officer who has led operations in conflict zones. A bullet and an airstrike in one mission leave him with partial hearing loss. His squad includes Alberto, a gunner-medic, Danny, Hino, and Carson. Alberto gains U.S. citizenship through Colonel Wood and invites the squad to his wedding in Mexico, where his fiancée Isabella waits. Wright agrees to serve as best man. At Alberto's family home, the soldiers are welcomed, and Alberto sees friction involving his brother Miguel. The family's land is held by a landlord, Moreno, and a cartel led by Baker wants it.
